DESCRIPTION:Help clean up the park (7151 W. Oakey Blvd.)! We will meet at the park on Saturday morning\, May 4th\, at 9:00 a.m. and will conclude at 11:00 a.m. Registration is encouraged to help us plan logistics. Click here  or on the QR code in the flyer to register\n\nRegistered volunteers will receive a meeting spot map and event details a few days before the event. All ages are welcome\, although minors without an adult guardian present will need to bring a signed waiver. Waivers will be emailed to registrants prior to the event. Registration will close on May 3rd at 10am.\nAll the tools and supplies required for the event will be provided including gloves\, trash bags\, trash grabbers\, etc. Please monitor your own health. If you are feeling well\, wear closed toed shoes\, bring plenty of drinking water for yourself. Plan ahead for warm seasonal temperatures.\n\nAnd since it is May 4th\, Star Wars costumes are welcome!

DESCRIPTION:You are all invited to a “First Tuesday” gathering on April 5\, 2022.  Officers from the LVMPD Summerlin Area Command will make a brief presentation about “Neighborhood Crime Prevention” beginning at 5:30 p.m. and then be available for questions and answers. \nThe meeting will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 1801 S. Monte Cristo Way\, Las Vegas\, NV 89117.  The building is located one block west of the Rainbow Family Park. \n“First Tuesday” is a standing event that the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Area Commands host each month to meet with the community. \n“First Tuesday” gatherings are held at various locations throughout the Command. The Summerlin Area Command is north of Sahara and west of Rainbow. DESCRIPTION:You are invited to join in exercise classes being held at our Rainbow Family Park.  There is a local fitness organization\, LVBARSTARZZ\, that sponsors multiple fitness classes at our city parks. For the last two years\, one of the Coach/Trainers (Josh) has been at Rainbow Family Park 4-5 days a week. \n\nHe shares his fitness/bodyweight routines. The movements are rhythmic\, graceful\, and are intended to increase strength.  Some of these exercises include pull-ups\, push-ups\, squats\, burpees\, abs\, and dips. It’s for all different levels of fitness. The classes are for beginners and advanced. \nThe scheduled days at Rainbow Family Park are as follows:\nSunday – 10 am – Free – (time may change during the season of the year)\nMonday – 9am – Free – (Upper body workout using park equipments)\nTuesday – 9am – $5 drop in or any donation – (lower body workouts using park equipment)\nThursday – 9am – $5 drop in or any donation – (full body workouts using park equipment)\nFriday – 9am  – Free – (cardio & full-body)
